Kontsa Winter postponed to 13-14 January 2024
Extreme cold weather postpones the Kontsa Winter sleigh race for a week. The competitions will be held on 13-14 January 2024.
The frost forecast for the coming weekend, January 6-7, 2024, shows more than -20c of frost for both days, so the competitions cannot be held. The competitions will be postponed to 13-14 January 2024, because the forecast for the following week is better. The competition organizer is still monitoring the frost situation and will inform on Tuesday 9.1. during the organization of the games. If the frost prevents the organization of the competition on January 13-14, 2024, the participation fees will be refunded.
As a result of the move, the registration period has been extended until 16:00 on Wednesday, January 10, 2024.
