The sale of VIP and Premium tickets starts, the biathlon World Cup special tickets are renewed

The special tickets for the Biathlon World Cup events organized in Kontiolahti and Joensuu are renewed. The previous B-view tickets will be replaced by a Premium ticket offering new service content, which allows you to enjoy, among other things, Restaurant Kerub's burger service.

The completely newly launched Premium ticket includes Restaurant Kerub's tapas table and burgers as food, and other services include a separate heated tent, own sanitary facilities, and its own ski stand that will replace the former B stand.

Event manager Tomi-Pekka Riihivuori from Kontiolahti Urheilijat ry justifies the new ticket category with the wishes of the customer base.

—Tickets of different service levels are commonplace at major events, and customers also know how to expect them. We believe that the Premium ticket will be of interest to both private individuals and companies, says Riihivuori.

With the opening of premium ticket sales, tickets for the March 2020 World Cup event in all four different service and price categories are now on sale. In addition to premium tickets, tickets are sold for the track stand, A stand and VIP stand.

The cooperation with Ravintola Kerubi is increasing

In connection with the reform of special tickets, the Kontiolahti Urheilijat and the event and restaurant company Kerubi from Joensuu are increasing their cooperation.

In previous World Cup events, Kerubi has been responsible for the services of the audience tent. In the 2020 World Cup events, Kerubi will be responsible for managing the sales points in addition to the audience tent. There is also more equipment cooperation.

—More extensive responsibility than before is natural. We have good experience from the biathlon competitions that have already taken place, and in many respects the same things apply in sports as in the music and other major events we produce, says Kerub's event producer Harri Laukkanen.

—Our goal is to constantly improve the service and develop World Cup events. Cooperation with a significant local event producer gives us extra hands to build events, says Tomi-Pekka Riihivuori from Kontiolahti Athletes.
