France Scores Double Victory in Men’s Mass Start: “This Is Special”
French Eric Perrot took the Mass Start victory 9,1 seconds ahead of his compatriot Quentin Fillon Maillet.
Perrot missed only one shot, whereas Fillon Maillet missed three shots in total. Norwegian Sturla Holm Laegreid placed third.
The victory was Perrot’s career second in an individual event.
His first place took him to the World Cup lead.
- This is special. What a feeling to cross the line first. It is unique. I was checking three or four times behind me to make sure, said Perrot.
He was delighted by the success of his team.
-Second win in a row, that is crazy for us. I think we are on a good way especially after the hard season last year. I am really happy and proud of my team.
