Inka Hämäläinen and Saga Hurskainen to Italy for the EYOF competitions

The Finnish team for the European Youth Olympic Winter Festival (EYOF) has been selected. The EYOF Winter Games will be held at the end of January 2023 in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region of Italy. Inka Hämäläinen and Saga Hurskainen from KontU.

The Finnish Olympic Committee announced the Finnish representatives for the EYOF competitions and the Finnish team includes Inka Hämäläinen and Saga Hurskainen. In December, Hämäläinen qualified for the IBU Cup based on his early season performances and won the last inspection competition in Hämeenlinna. Hurskainen was among the top three in all inspection competitions, which ensured a place on the Finnish team.

The competitions will be held in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region of Italy on January 21-28, 2023.

At the same time, the Finnish Biathlon Union published the representatives of the following World Cup and IBU Cup competitions. Nastassia Kinnunen will continue in the Ruhpolding World Cup in Germany, and Ville-Valtteri Karvinen, Joni Mustonen and Heikki Laitinen will continue in the IBU Cup in Pokljuka, Slovenia. >.
