Kontiolahti Isku merges with KontU

Kontiolahti Isku will merge with Kontiolahti Urheilijos from June 2023. Until the end of May, the volleyball shifts will rotate as before under the Kontiolahti Isku operation, and from the beginning of June 2023, the shifts will rotate under the Kontiolahti Athletes.

Volleyball activities will be under KontU's youth and recreational sports division.

Room shifts, autumn 2023 - winter 2024:

• Shifts valid between 14 August 2023 and 19 May 2024
• Men's recreational volleyball, Kontiolahti school gymnasium, Tuesdays 8-10 pm (entire hall)
• Men's recreational volleyball, Kontiolahti school gymnasium, Thursdays from 20:00 to 22:00 (whole hall)
• Men's recreational volleyball, Kontiolahti sports hall, Sundays from 18:00 to 20:00 (1/3 hall)

Room shifts, summer 2023:

• Shifts valid between 1 June and 13 August 2023 (winter shifts will be announced later)
• Women's recreational volleyball, Kontioniemi school, Tuesdays 6-7:30 p.m. (whole hall)
• Men's recreational volleyball, Kontiolahti sports hall, Wednesdays from 18:00 to 20:00 (1/3 hall)
• Men's recreational volleyball, Kontiolahti sports hall, Sundays from 18:00 to 20:00 (1/3 hall)

Membership and membership fees:

Membership matters are handled through MyClub. You can register on the Kontiolahti Sportsmen's MyClub page

Click on "Register as a new member" on the right side of the page. Fill in the information requested by the form.

Membership fees 2023 for recreational volleyball:
- Adult: €25/person (normal price €40/year)
- Under 18, over 65 and other adults in the family: €25/year

- Family membership: €100/year (persons living in the same household)
- Lifetime member: €350
- Lifetime member (over 65): €250

Hall fees:

A seasonal fee of 50 euros is charged for volleyball hobby sessions. First operating period 1.6.-31.12.2023.
The annual fee for 2024 will be decided separately at the end of 2023.

The gym fees are billed after becoming a member via MyClub.
